Quick Details
Enjoy an unparalleled experience in Tonalá and Tlaquepaque, two picturesque towns in the state of Jalisco where you can learn about architecture, traditions, and gastronomy.
We begin with a panoramic tour visiting some of the most representative monuments on the way to our destination. In Tonalá, one of the typical colonial towns of Jalisco, get to know the local history and see artisans working in blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, furniture, and much more. And you can also purchase local products.
Soon we will go to the emblematic town of Tlaquepaque, a tourist center focused on pottery and textile crafts. Its streets and walkways are adorned with various Casonas of the last century, in addition to colonial constructions. During your stay, you can taste your own food in some of the restaurants of the Andador Independencia, which serve typical Mexican and gourmet-style meals.
Finally, we will visit a workshop of typical sweets located in an old house more than 150 years old, where we can observe the process of handmaking rompope, cajeta, chocolate, and other sweets. We conclude at the meeting point indicated by the guide and begin our return.
