Explore the Alcázar and Cathedral of Seville

We will start the visit in the Plaza del Triunfo, where the Cathedral and the Giralda Tower meet the Royal Alcazar, two buildings declared World Heritage by UNESCO. First, we will go to the ALCÁZAR DE SEVILLA, one of the most representative monuments of the city, the country, and the whole Mediterranean culture. The declaration of the site as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 guaranteed the survival of this monument. Afterward, we will go to the CATHEDRAL OF SEVILLE, which is the third-largest cathedral of the Gothic period, and the third-largest church in the world. It was registered by UNESCO in 1987 as a World Heritage Site. This cathedral houses the largest and richest altarpiece in the world. To the left of the Royal Chapel is the entrance to the majestic Moorish minaret of La Giralda, which now serves as the bell tower of the cathedral. It’s worth climbing to the top and enjoying the view.
