Opening Hours: What time does Chichen Itza open?
Chichen Itza is open from Monday to Sunday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m every day of the year, including holidays. However, it is important to note that the last entry to the site is at 4:00 p.m., at which point the Ball Court, the sacred cenote, the Plaza of a Thousand Columns, the Plaza of the Osario, the Observatory, and the Nunnery.
To avoid crowds and enjoy a quieter experience, we recommend visiting Chichen Itza early in the morning or later in the day. This way, you can avoid peak visitor hours and enjoy a more intimate and personalized experience.
