The Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as La Casa Azul, is Frida Kahlo’s intimate universe.

The artist lived in this house for most of her life—first with her family and later with Diego Rivera.

Frida wished to leave her home as a museum to be enjoyed by her beloved Mexico. For that reason, after her death, Diego established the Frida Kahlo Museum here.

Since its opening in July 1958, La Casa Azul has showcased the environment that inspired Frida’s creative process, along with her personal belongings. In addition to works by both artists, the museum features folk art, pre-Hispanic artifacts, photographs, documents, books, and furniture.

The garden is an essential part of La Casa Azul and gives access to the exhibition of Frida’s dresses.

With this ticket, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Frida Kahlo’s world and skip the lines at the ticket office.
