Visit two of the most important monuments located on the outskirts of Madrid. You will leave at noon from our meeting point located in the center of Madrid and will first visit the Monastery of El Escorial, there you will visit the palace that was the residence of the Spanish Royal Family, the basilica that is the burial place of the kings of Spain and the monastery, which was founded by monks of the Order of St. Jerome and is currently occupied by friars of the Order of St. Augustine. This monastery is one of the most unique Renaissance architecture in Spain and Europe.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to visit the Friars’; Gardens which are the maximum exponent of the concept that King Philip II had of gardening, which had to provide visual beauty, as well as allowing the cultivation of vegetables and fruit. Then we will visit the `Valle de los Caídos´ a complex built between 1940 and 1958 as a memorial to honor the memory of the fallen.
