Choose your adventure and celebrate life and death like never before!

Night visit to a cemetery and trajinera ride in Xochimilco

Available only on November 1st, this exclusive tour takes you on a panoramic visit through the heart of Mexico City. Admire famous landmarks such as the Monument to the Revolution, the Angel of Independence, and the grand Paseo de la Reforma, all beautifully illuminated and decorated for the occasion. Then, visit a cemetery, where your guide will give you explanations about this festivity, while you witness the altars filled with candles and flowers, and see families honoring their loved ones. Admire their rich expressions of popular art that fuse symbolism and thought, both pre-Hispanic and Catholic, around death! The experience concludes with a picturesque boat ride on a trajinera through Xochimilco’s canals, accompanied by lively mariachi music. Float through the decorated canals on this spectacular boat and pass through the floating gardens, popularly known as chinampas, while singing and dancing to the rhythm of Mexican music, enjoying the perfect blend of tradition and celebration on this special day!

An immersive experience at a Chinampa in Xochimilco

On this immersive tour, you will be transported directly to the Xochimilco canals, where a trajinera will take you to a stunning chinampa adorned with the golden glow of cempasúchil flowers, a symbol of the Day of the Dead. Here, you will be part of an immersive experience that connects you with the traditions of the Day of the Dead, the history and ancient agriculture of Mexico! Throughout the evening, you will be accompanied by live traditional music, which will resonate in the air as you participate in an emotional cacao ceremony. In addition, you will join in a traditional altar offering dedicated to honoring the deceased, surrounded by vibrant colors, flavors, and the captivating aromas of this sacred celebration. To top it all off, enjoy a delicious three-course meal cooked in a traditional smoke kitchen, paired with artisanal drinks like mezcal, pulque, and curados.
