How It All Began
The journey of Amigo Tours began with the creation of Hostal Amigo in Mexico City in 2005. A few years later, in 2010, founder Jose Arozarena took the vision further by purchasing a bus to offer tours to hostel guests. New opportunities soon followed, along with a key partnership with a Mexican tour agency. A major breakthrough came through our collaboration with Viator, a leading online travel platform, which allowed Amigo Tours to expand internationally. Today, we operate in cities such as Mexico City, Cancun, New York, London, Madrid, Tokyo, and beyond, continuing to grow while staying true to our local roots.

Since 2005, Amigo Group has been working with leading wholesale travel agencies and online travel agencies. Currently, Amigo consists of a team of 1000 people serving over 3.5 million passengers.
At Amigo Tours, we offer more than 270 different products operated directly by us.
