If you have a keen eye and a passion for art, there is nothing better than a tour of the Prado Museum. The gallery is ornate, tasteful, and cultured beyond belief. Find a work collection that contains pieces dating from 1657, between the 16th and 19th centuries, and comprises more than 2,300 paintings. It includes works such as `Las Meninas´ by Velázquez or `El Jardín de Las Delicias´ by El Bosco. Lose yourself in the history of Spanish art as you experience masterpieces from different centuries. From the earliest documented works of art to the world’s most iconic, the Prado Museum is a great destination to experience turn-of-the-century art. The collection is unique and a never-ending display of an impressive story!

From here, we will immerse ourselves in another artistic era. The Reina Sofía Museum expands the modern and contemporary history of Spanish art, specifically it houses the work of the best artists of the 20th century in Spain. The neoclassical building was once a former hospital facility operated by Philip II in the 16th century. Declared a historical-artistic monument in 1977, the site was closed but later restored in 1980 to its current state; Reina Sofia Museum. The expansion continued and the exposure only grew. This museum is now a world-famous tourist spot in Madrid that attracts each year for its impressive paintings, sculptures, handicrafts and whimsical aura. You will be able to see fantastic works such as `El Guernica´ by Picasso or `Caracol, Mujer. Flor, Estrella‘ by Joan Miró.
