Enjoy the Sunset on an Afternoon Tour of Teotihuacan
Visit Teotihuacan, the “City of Gods” in the afternoon, and admire all the shades of color in the sky once the sunset starts.
This evening 5 hour tour starts with a trip to the outskirts of the Northeast of Mexico City, towards the Archaeological Site of Teotihuacan, the City of Gods. On the way, enjoy a brief introduction to the history of the city.
The tour begins at the meeting point in Mexico City, heading northeast, touring the suburbs of the city, while the guide explains the history of the different places you are passing by.
After a brief introduction about the tour through Teotihuacan, the ascending of the Pyramid of the Sun begins, followed by the Pyramid of the Moon, while the guide describes the Mesoamerican architecture, design, and cosmovision.
Learn about the architecture and urban design of the site, which represents the cosmos from a Mesoamerican perspective.
Before heading back to Mexico City, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the mexican food and to visit an Obsidian Workshop, where you’ll learn all about this technique and have time to buy some souvenirs.
