On the first day of this combo, you will travel in a comfortable bus to the amazing Niagara Falls. Upon arrival, you will be able to experience the beauty of this natural wonder aboard the historic ship called Maid of the Mist or from other available observation points, such as the Cave of the Winds walk. During your visit, you will learn the interesting history of these powerful waters and enjoy spectacular views from different observation points. After spending an unforgettable experience you will return to NY.
Two days later you will travel south to visit two capital cities. The first destination will be Washington D.C. You’ll start by visiting the Iwo Jima Memorial, which famous depiction of soldiers raising the American flag in Japan during World War II is dedicated to honoring United States Marines. You will continue with a visit to the impressive Memorial to Abraham Lincoln, the president who promoted the abolition of slavery in the United States. During this tour, you will be able to observe and learn about the White House, the residence and office of the President of the United States; and the Capitol building, home of the American Congress and place where the laws of this country are created. The visit to Washington will conclude with free time for lunch.
The next destination will be Philadelphia, which was the first capital of the United States selected during the War of Independence. The first stop is the Independence National Historic Park, where you can see some important historical sites such as the famous Liberty Bell, the symbol of the Independence of the U.S.A.; and the valuable Independence Hall, a building within which the founding documents of this country were discussed and adopted: The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Your visit to Philadelphia will conclude with a stop at the Rocky Stairs, located in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where you can recreate the famous scene from Silvester Stalone’s movie, climbing the 72 steps.
