About the tour
Sumo is more than just a sport: it is a powerful display of tradition, discipline, and centuries-old rituals. For many visitors, witnessing a live sumo match is a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience. With this exclusive experience, you will attend an official sumo tournament at the modern Aichi International Arena in Nagoya. For this event, we offer two options for reserved seating on the second floor, providing an excellent panoramic perspective of all the action: Seating Area B: Located in the mid-level stands of the second floor, offering a perfect balance between proximity and a general view. Seating Area C: Situated slightly higher than the B seats, this is the ideal option for those seeking a clear view of the matches with a wide perspective of the venue. Your experience will be enhanced by a professional sumo guide, who will explain the rules, rituals, ranking system, and the deep cultural significance of this art, allowing you to fully appreciate every intense moment on the dohyo. This is your chance to witness one of Japan’s most iconic traditions live, available during the Nagoya tournament in these selected categories.
