Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine
Your journey begins as you travel to the coast to board a ferry bound for the enchanting island of Miyajima. Known for its peaceful atmosphere and striking natural landscapes, the island is home to the revered Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its famous torii gate, which seems to float above the sea at high tide, is one of Japan's most photographed symbols and creates a stunning scene for unforgettable photos.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park
Afterwards, you will board the ferry once more and return to Hiroshima, where you will visit the Peace Memorial Park, a place of profound historical meaning. Here you will see the Peace Memorial, the Atomic Bomb Dome and several monuments dedicated to the victims of the 1945 tragedy. Walking through this reflective space encourages contemplation of the value of world peace and the enduring spirit of the Japanese people.
Return to Tokyo
