Quick Details
You will start the tour by visiting Pisa. Upon arrival, you will go to Piazza dei Miracoli, declared a World Heritage Site and where the Pisan Romanesque-style cathedral is located. In this same square, you will have the opportunity to take the famous photo next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and some free time on your own.
After that, you will return to the bus to go to Florence. During the Middle Ages, Florence was an important cultural, economic, and financial center and its streets originated in the second half of the fourteenth century, the Renaissance. The city is replete with history, art, philosophy and science and there are samples of it on every corner.
To make sure you don’t miss anything essential, the guide will take you on an itinerary full of curiosities and interesting facts that will allow you to admire Piazza del Duomo, Mercato Nuovo, Piazza della Repubblica or Palazzo Strozzi. You will walk over the Vecchio Bridge and from there you will reach the Palazzo Vecchio. You will have some free time to eat on your own and taste the typical Panzanella or Panino col Lampredotto.
We will arrive in Rome in the late afternoon, on a comfortable bus where you can relax while crossing the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany and Lazio.
Please note that the tour is not recommended for people with mobility problems as the itinerary is tight and demanding. Take note that if you choose the “with Audio Guide” option, you will enjoy an Audio Guided Tour in Florence. Therefore, you will have to download an app on your smartphone. You will receive all the instructions in your voucher confirmation in your email.
Also, we kindly remind you that the journey between cities is done by bus, which means that you will spend several hours on the road. The journey duration from Rome to Pisa will be of approximately 4 hours, as well as the return to Rome from Florence.
