About the tour

Begin your experience visiting the Archeological Site of Tulum, one of Mexico's most famous Mayan remains, which served as a port to the Caribbean Sea. Explore the area as you admire Tulum's stunning landscape and soak up the ancient majesty, learn about its history by listening to your expert guide. In addition, you will be able to participate in a chocolate tasting!

The next stop is the Archeological Site of Coba. Discover one of the largest Mayan Cities of the Classic Period and admire the Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatán Peninsula. You will be in front of a relic of 120 steps and 42 meters high, surrounded by the lush jungle. Once conquered by the Mayans, these ancient people give you an idea of how they lived in this impressive place. Before leaving this awesome place, you will be able to participate in a tequila tasting to fully take part in the Mexican culture!

Long day being the first to be picked up, and the guide showing up 15 minutes late. The sites were interesting, but having signed up for a tour in English, the bilingual experience was tough to follow. Also, the "tastings" ended up being "a tasting" at our first stop, which consisted of one cacao bean. Our excursion the previous year was entirely in English, and the guide was far more knowledgeable than this one about the sites we visited. (The reason we chose Amigo a second time) Nice guy, but needs more practice in his language skills and history.

Frank and Raciel were excellent guides on this tour. The cenote swim was definitely the highlight of the trip and something I will not forget.
