Enjoy a day full of culture and gastronomy!

Start this experience by being picked up at your hotel and head south of the state where our 2 points of interest are located. We will arrive at the port of Alvarado, which is named in memory of the conquistador Pedro of Alvarado.

A picturesque place famous for its inhabitants and its rich gastronomy, it is said that the freshest seafood can be found only on Alvarado. Get to know this magical place through its beautiful boardwalk, visiting the Municipal Palace like more than 100 years of history and the famous church of the Virgin of the Rosary, place where the traditional festival of the crosses takes place in the month of May.

We will continue along the Papaloapan River to the beautiful town of Tlacotalpan, considered as cultural heritage by UNESCO, the cradle of the Veracruz folklore, walk through its streets, and zocalo, famous for its French style. Admire the women dancing, men playing their jaranas and with ease, they improvise verses and tenths, friendly, warm, and talkative people who will make your visit unforgettable. Meet the beautiful Nezahualcoyotl Theater, the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Candelaria, the Salvador Museum Ferrando, and without leaving behind the house Museum of the famous singer and composer Agustin Lara, who spent much of his life in this beautiful place.
